You can create your first termbase while you are registering on Lexeri or can do so afterwards on the Lexeri homepage. This termbase establishes a framework for you to build your terminology, perform research and collaborate with colleagues.
Creating a termbase during registration
The first step if you use the registration wizard to register is to create an initial termbase
Enter the name of your termbase in the designated text field and click on Create database.
You will then be guided through the process and will end up on the Lexeri homepage once registration is complete. The homepage provides access to the database you created. There you can proceed with more detailed configurations, adding terminology and inviting other colleagues.
Creating a termbase on the Lexeri homepage
If you logged into Lexeri for the first time using the TT customer dashboard and have not yet created a database, you can now do so by selecting Create database on the Lexeri homepage.
This also opens a form to create the database. You have the additional option of adding a description to your termbase at this point.
Enter the name of your database here in the matching text field, along with a short description of the termbase. You can select the termbase description at your own discretion, but it should provide the intended users with information as to the content of the termbase and its purpose etc.
Then click on Create database.
This takes you to the Lexeri homepage, where you can access the database you created. There you can proceed with more detailed configurations, adding terminology and inviting other colleagues.
