Compliance with your corporate terminology when writing texts has become even easier with the latest update for the Microsoft Office add-ins. Among the new features is a live term check and the option of searching the termbases directly in Word or other Office programs.
You can install the Lexeri Office add-in directly in Word, Excel or PowerPoint (see: Lexeri Office Add-In now available for Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel as well) or by going to Microsoft AppSource: https://appsource.microsoft.com/de-de/product/office/WA200003438?exp=ubp8&tab=Overview
Live term checks
The new ‘Live Check’ mode suggests corrections for wrong terms while you are typing. To do so, Live Check continuously reviews the current paragraph during the editing process. This removes the need to run a manual check of the texts.
‘Search Termbase’ – the second new mode – opens a term search in the sidebar, which you can use to search for any terms in the termbase. You are shown a list of hits and can click on the terms to display them in your browser.
Naturally, the Lexeri fuzzy search also shows parts of words or slightly different spellings.
New add-in for Outlook with live term checks
We have also reworked the Microsoft Outlook add-in to include live term checks while you are writing an email.
You can install the Outlook add-in directly in Office (see: Lexeri Office Add-In now available for Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel as well) or by going to Microsoft AppSource: https://appsource.microsoft.com/de-de/product/office/wa200004563?tab=overview&exp=ubp8
