Detailed term requests
A frequently requested new feature has been added to the Lexeri term requests in this update: Users can now also suggest further details for their term suggestions, such as a usage status, the subject area, and other synonyms or languages.
This allows your Lexeri termbase to benefit even more from the expertise of your employees.
New formats for individual attributes
We have added new formats for individual attributes: In addition to the familiar selection lists and free text fields, the following formats can now be selected as attributes in the terms and term entries:
- Date format
- Number format
- Yes/No selection
This makes your information in the term database even more diverse and precise.
Multilingualism in the ontologies: Language selection and localizable relations
We have carried out an update for multilingualism in the ontologies:
There is now a language selection in the ontologies, i.e. you can display the entries in the nodes in all existing languages in the term database. If an entry is not available in the selected language, Lexeri will fall back to the source language for this node.
In addition, relation types can now be localized in all languages of the term database via the ontology settings. The display adapts to the selected ontology language.
Deleting entire entries
A small but helpful function has been added to the term entry: It is now possible to delete an entire entry with all the terms it contains in one step. Previously, you had to remove each term individually from the entry.
Better differentiation between published and new terms in the drafts
In a task, you have the option of editing already published terms in a draft and adding completely new draft terms to the list at the same time.
A small icon in each draft term, as well as in the draft list, shows you immediately whether one of the three following editing statuses is involved:
- Term already public in the term database (gray eye symbol: “Published”)
- Public term that was changed as part of this task (orange eye symbol: “Changed”)
- Newly added draft term (asterisk: “New”)
Changing the status when moving a term
We have made a small improvement to the term systematization: When moving a term to another entry, you can now change the status of the term in the same step if required. This was previously only possible after moving the term to the desired entry.
Individual entry attributes in the quality dashboard
We have expanded the checkable attributes in the quality dashboard: Here you can now choose between all your individually configured attributes at the entry level and check them for incompleteness in the term database.
