In this update, we are adding an important function that makes term editing much easier and more efficient: batch editing (or mass editing) in the term list.
In addition, there is a also small new feature for duplicate cleansing: From now on, the entry ID can be adjusted again here, and term entries can be merged with even greater precision.
Batch editing:
You can now select multiple terms in the term list via a selection mode and perform an action for multiple terms at the same time via an editing menu, such as adding a subject area or other attribute or changing the usage status of terms.
Changing the entry ID when merging duplicates
We have made a small addition to the duplicate cleanup: When merging duplicates, you can now select the entry ID that you want to keep for the duplicate entries and use for the main entry.
This can be helpful when merging two databases, such as when an ID of a deleted duplicate entry is to remain accessible for subsequent exports to third-party systems.
New export formats for TermStar and Smartling
With this update, we are adding a new TBX format specifically for TermStar from the STAR Group to our long list of export formats.
We have also updated the TBX format for Smartling so that it now uses TBX version 3.
