This release introduces some functions for downstream editing in the ontologies. We are also expanding our exports to include other important formats for Schema ST4 and the Alugha video platform.
More editing options in ontologies
Deletion of nodes and relations
We have extended the functions for deleting elements in ontologies: So far, you have only been able to delete the outermost relations of an ontology and were asked to proceed from the outside to the middle. Now you can now delete all relations and nodes individually at any point in the ontology.
If you delete a relation or a node from the center of the ontology, only this element and all direct relations are removed. All other relations remain unchanged:
Nodes are deleted to remove relations with single connections at the outer end of the ontology.
Example: All connected relations – so also the term entry "Silicon" – are removed from the ontology by deleting "Composition":
Replacing nodes
Effective immediately, individual nodes can now be replaced with another entry or a label. This also provides greater flexibility and more downstream customization options in the ontologies.
Expanding export formats
Schema ST4 lexicon
Schema ST4 users can now import Lexeri terminology into the Schema ST4 lexicon as well. We provide a separate export format to do this, which you can select during manual export of your termbase:
Alugha video platform
Glossaries can be created in the Alugha video platform, for example to support the automatic translation of transcriptions or video descriptions. This new Alugha CSV export format in Lexeri now enables you to fill these glossaries with your Lexeri terminology.
Expansion of activities
We have added some things to our list of activities in the termbase overview. You will now see the following activities as well:
For all users
- new terms published in the database
- Term entries were edited
Only for terminology managers
- completed tasks
