In our latest update, we have added the function to upload images in term entries as well as giving our PDF viewer in the term checks a
better usability. In this article we will briefly present both of these new features to you.
Images in the term entries
By adding the pictures, we have enhanced our attributes with one of the most important features in the term entry.
Our visual imagination makes up a large part of how we perceive things in reality. This is exactly how images in terminology contribute significantly to understanding the concept behind a term entry. In this way, even specialised terminology becomes accessible to a wider group of employees in your company and can be used in a more targeted way.
In Lexeri, you can now find images in the section 'General' within a term entry.
In the picture gallery, you can view all the pictures added to the entry and, as a terminology manager, upload as many additional pictures as you like directly by drag-and-drop from your own files in the term entry, whether in JPG or PNG format.
You can also make the usual further edits here, such as editing the title and source of an image or deleting individual images from the gallery.
New PDF viewer
There is a slightly smaller modification in our term checks in Lexeri: We have swapped our PDF viewer for a newer, more powerful version.
The NLP logic that identifies terms in the background during a term check has improved so that terms are now recognised more reliably.
In addition, the editor and preview functions, with which you can, for example, search the document or jump to the occurrence of a term in the text, have become somewhat more user-friendly and efficient.
