Until now, the term request board has been integrated into the individual Lexeri termbases. Terminology managers used it to retrieve term requests sent by users, which they can manage in a neatly arranged Kanban board.
So far, companies with several termbases have had to check each termbase separately for new term requests – today’s update will put an end to this laborious procedure.
Global term requests
Term requests have now relocated to the main menu. Select the link in the main menu to access the global term request board listing all term requests from every termbase. We have removed the boards from the termbases.
The termbase to which the term request refers is now shown in the tile for the individual term requests, together with the requesting user and the date.
Creating term requests in the board
Users can also create requests in the new global term request board. First they have to specify the termbase for which the request will be created. The other input fields have remained unchanged.
Other planned changes
In future, a selection field in the global term request board will enable users to filter term requests according to individual termbases. This update will go live soon.
